Having been born and raised in North London, my films are reflective of the vibrant urban environment in which I grew up in.

I have been making short films since I was 17 years old and, until a decade ago ago,  had mostly focused on the editing aspect of filmmaking as it was the area that I was most fascinated by which lead to me working with various post production houses over the years. The idea that the tone and shape of a film can be dramatically altered through editing has come to inform the way in which I shoot my productions and my background as a editor means that I am able to make confident choices on location.

My filmmaking has also undergone a strong and defined style over the years. I favour striking visual and aural techniques to tell my stories over dialogue. It is also important to me that people connect with my films on an emotional level rather than an intellectual one which is why I try to make films that leave space for the viewer to bring her/his own imagination.

In 2023, I had success on the film festival circuit with Inertia, a short narrative themed on violence towards women. Our film featured at the NRFF (New Renaissance Film Festival), (BUFF) British Urban Film Festival and Hackney Super Shorts. At NRFF, we were not only nominated for Best Social Drama but we won The Audience Award for that year which is a career highlight to say the least.

As of Spring 2024, I am about to start production on a film called Breath Of Another which is about toxic work environments and low self esteem. The film will star bright young talents in Georgia-Mae Myers and Elliot Samuels. In addition, I am currently filming, editing and co producing a feature length documentary on Black History within the UK which will be out later in the year. Finally, 2025 will see me finally complete my 1st feature length film The Fuck It List which is being scored and sound designed by the incredible sonic artist Riz Maslen.
